The International Committee on Seafarers' Welfare needed to create an awards site in three weeks. Never one to shy from the task Joomkit stepped up for a design and delivery process with a 3 week deadline. Rowan and Alan knuckled down.
The content for the website needed to be arranged from lots of material that had previously been available in other formats - such as PDFs and Word Documents.
Simple enough. The actual awards site needed 7 different forms with custom emails for submitters and administrators. Because staff were travelling with poor connections Twitter was chosen as a simple news medium to post news on the home page and encourage inlcusion more widely.
And of course the whole site has to run off a CMS so staff can get at the data for the awards and process the nominations communications.
