onations received by Surrey Young Carers enhance our core work and enable us to provide additional support to the young carers we work with. The young carer Forum group consult with the other young carers across the county and decide how they wish the donations to be spent. In the past this has helped fund carer breaks, equipment at groups and extra outings, to name a few. We are always grateful to receive any donations and thank you all for considering sponsoring our work with young carers.

Osborne carries out civil engineering, construction, homes, rail and property services work. Osborne plays a positive role in the communities in which it works, both in our office locations and the communities where we have projects. Our staff have a real commitment to local issues; at our Redhill office this commitment has been shown through the support of local charity Surrey Young Carers (SYC).
When the very important and worthwhile work the charity does within the community was described to staff, our employees instantly embraced SYC and were very enthusiastic to raise funds. We had lots of fun thinking of money raising ideas and raised our charitable donations through cake sales, an inter-office football match and 2 raffles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed arranging and taking part in these events.
The Surrey Young Carers team were extremely supportive. They assisted us with fundraising ideas, attended our events and even conducted a short talk at our office about young carers, how they help them and how the donations are utilized. The talk was particularly successful and further inspired our staff to support the charity.
We look forward to maintaining our relationship with Surrey Young Carers; raising more funds in the years to come for a very worthy and significant cause.
