Carers in Hertfordshire is a great charity that aims to make sure that all those who are carers of people in Hertfordshire are valued, recognised and supported in their caring role.
When Joomkit started work with the charity, their website had a hard to use front-end that made for an unwelcome user experience.
In addition there was no CMS and the site was made from static HTML. This limited development and had the hinderance of a technial learning curve for anyone who wanted to try and make cosmetic or layout changes.
The content for the website needed to be arranged from lots of material that had previously been available in other formats - such as PDFs and Word Documents.
Working with our designers we came up with a fresh and clean new design bringing more clarity to the key user journeys and overall experience.
For the first time, the organisation could also now manage their website with a proper scalable CMS.
We provided training for the client and now they are happily updating the CMS and growing their website with minimal support from us.
