Forums and workshops

We hold three carers’ forums at venues around the county a year, plus our Annual Conference. The forums are attended by 100 -120 carers and some professionals and are aimed at airing the big issues of the day. Organised in conjunction with local carers’ support schemes, there are usually one or more main topics for discussion and several workshops for carers to choose from. The eventstypically finish with lunch, offering carers an opportunity to meet and chat informally with other carers, seek advice from carer support workers and pick up information from the display stands.
