Become an ambassador for ACS

Many carers who are looking to broaden their horizons find that becoming an Ambassador for ACS is a good start. Carer Ambassadors help us to deliver messages to the wider public on carer awareness which helps support us in trying to achieve equitable services and support for carers throughout Surrey. These are some of the things our Ambassadors do:

• Participate in focus groups on topics of concern to carers
• Give views on consultations
• Contribute views as a member of our Giving Carers a Voice forum
• Become a spokesperson to help deliver messages through the media
• Speak at public meetings
• Deliver training
• Become a Trustee and Board member
